Objetivos

General objective:

The purpose is to create a network committed to examining the ways leading Chilean and American universities understand and might evolve their public roles and better serve the societies that give them meaning and life.
Specific objectives:

1) To examine the evolving public service role and mission of private and public universities in both Chile and the US with a focus on the special circumstances in Chile and in California
2) To explore and compare patterns of convergence and divergence between the two regions
3) To identify best practices for the further development of universities in both countries
